Trenching a cable and running power out to each point can cost more than the cameras themselves.

This long range WiFi extender picks up the network you already have and relays it up to 300m across open ground, running on two solar panels totalling 30W and a 30,000mAh battery, so the mounting point needs no power at all. Link up to 10 units in a row to carry the network 2.5 to 3km, with the speed dropping at each hop. It has no SIM slot and no Ethernet port: it extends an existing WiFi network, and cameras and phones join it over WiFi.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1006/6939/1168/files/long-range-wifi-extender-connected-devices_61601ba6-00aa-4613-9fa0-b5435c09afe2.jpg?v=1793261656
