The sensor mounts anywhere on windows and doors as long as both the devices are horizontally attached magnetically.
This sensor is a perfect addition to the VIM-4GALARM system, giving your home security around the whole property, leaving no weak entry points. The sensor functions effectively with windows and doors by detecting when the secondary device detaches from the sensor. The sensor is magnetically attached to the secondary device. The sensor uses the detachment function to alarm the central hub that an intruder has opened a window/door.  The central hub immediately sends an alert message to you directly on your mobile phone.
