Description

A camera on a back paddock is only useful if you can see what it saw without driving out to it. This 2K solar trail camera runs on 4G, so photos, clips and live view come to your phone from anywhere with mobile coverage.

Three PIR sensors cover 125 degrees out to 25m, and four 940nm no glow LEDs light the frame at night without a visible flash. A 5W panel keeps the 7,800mAh pack charged, and built in GPS means you can find the camera again if it is moved.

Two-Way Audio on Demand: Built-in microphone and speaker let you listen or speak through the app

Farm & Property Security

Livestock gets out at 3am. Gates are left open. You're asleep in the house.

This camera streams live to your phone when motion is detected. AI recognizes horses, cattle, sheep, and dogs, so you know if it's your stock or a threat. GPS shows exactly which paddock it's in, so you can respond fast.

Wildlife Research & Monitoring

Tracking endangered species or monitoring pest animals. You need to know what's there without disturbing them.

AI identifies species in real-time, animals, livestock and birds. Time-lapse mode captures grazing patterns. No-glow infrared doesn't spook nocturnal wildlife. Solar power means months in the field without visits.

Remote Construction & Site Watch

Your equipment sits unattended for weeks. Vandals or thieves see an easy target.

4G streaming works where there's no WiFi. Motion alerts hit your phone instantly. Two-way audio lets you warn intruders off. IP66 rating handles rain, dust, and extreme temperatures.

Applications

Real-World Scenarios

Farm Gates and Stock Races

Gates get left open, stock get through fences, and you find out the next morning.

Point the camera at the gate or the race. The PIR picks up movement out to 25m and the app shows you the clip while there is still time to act. No power lead and no WiFi, just a SIM.

Hunting Blocks and Game Trails

You want to know what is using a trail and when, without walking in every week and leaving scent.

The 940nm no glow infrared does not flare, so deer and pigs are not spooked off the trail. Check the 4G feed from the ute instead of making a trip in.

Acreage with No Power at the Boundary

The far corner of the block has no mains supply and no coverage from the house WiFi.

Solar and 4G make the corner post a viable camera position. The GPS tag records where the camera is, which matters when several are out at once.

How it Works

The camera connects to 4G LTE through your own Nano SIM with a data plan from Telstra, Optus or Vodafone, and supports Band 28 (700MHz) for rural coverage. Solar panel charges the internal 7800mAh battery during daylight. When motion is detected, it records 2K video and streams it to your phone via the app. AI analyzes the footage in real-time and sends alerts if it recognizes an animal or person. No WiFi and no power cables; the SIM's data plan is the running cost.

Specifications

Power: 5V, 2A maximum. Use the adapter supplied, or a standard 5V USB charger or power bank rated 2A or less. Do not use fast chargers (USB-C PD, Quick Charge, Super Fast Charging) or high-output power banks: they can damage the device.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Does this work without WiFi?

Yes. It uses the 4G mobile network through your own SIM card. Works anywhere with mobile signal.

2. Is the SIM card included?

No. Fit your own Nano SIM with a data plan from Telstra, Optus or Vodafone, prepaid or on a plan. The camera supports Band 28 (700MHz), the band those networks use to reach rural areas. There is no fee to us: the data plan is the running cost.

3. How long does battery last without sun?

Approximately 2-3 weeks of normal use. With solar panel, runs indefinitely in adequate sunlight.

4. What animals does AI recognize?

Recognizes common wildlife and livestock: dogs, cattle, sheep, horses, deer, pigs, and birds.

5. Can I view live video from anywhere?

Yes. Free smartphone app (iOS/Android) shows live stream, playback, and alerts anywhere with internet.

6. Is it waterproof?

Yes. IP66 rated, waterproof, dustproof, and corrosion resistant. Suitable for permanent outdoor installation.

7. Can more than one person use the camera?

Yes. The other person installs the same app on their phone and registers their own account in it. You then send them an invite from your app to share the camera, and once they accept, they can view it from their own phone.

Is it legal to use this camera on my property in Australia?

Yes, filming your own home, driveway, yard and business is lawful in Australia. Surveillance devices laws differ by state and territory, and filming people where they expect privacy, such as a bathroom or bedroom, or recording a private conversation you are not part of, is generally not allowed. Aim cameras at your own property, not into a neighbour's windows or yard. This is general information, not legal advice.
