The VIM-CLASGLASS2K is a pair of glasses that records what you are looking at: 2.7K video at 30fps and 4K stills, from a camera in a 35 gram ABS frame, with the controls on the temple so both hands stay free.
The battery gives 60 to 90 minutes per charge and recharges in about two hours. Files go to a microSD card up to 128GB and come off over USB 2.0, with no cloud account and nothing to sync.
The 4K figure is the still photo resolution. Video is 2.7K at 30fps, which is still higher than every other pair of glasses in this range. The product title says 4K, and we have used the specification figures instead.
About 60 to 90 minutes per charge, with a two hour recharge. If you need a working day, plan around charging between sessions.
microSD up to 128GB, which is four times what most camera glasses accept and far more than the battery will fill in one go.
No. This model records locally and has no WiFi. If you want to see the feed on a phone, choose the WiFi sunglasses instead.
Yes. It offers video plus audio recording through a built-in microphone, so footage plays back with sound. Audio carries stricter rules than video: recording a private conversation you are not part of is generally not allowed in Australia, so keep audio to conversations you are part of.
Owning and wearing a camera like this is lawful in Australia, and so is filming in public places and on property you own or control. Surveillance devices laws differ by state and territory, and filming people where they expect privacy, such as a bathroom or bedroom, or recording a private conversation you are not part of, is generally not allowed. This is general information, not legal advice.
