Description

A wallet, a passport sleeve and a document folder all carry the same problem: they hold everything that matters and give no signal when they go.

This Bluetooth tracker card sits flat in a card slot at 1.7mm and shows its last known position through both the Apple Find My and Google Find Hub networks, so the item stays trackable whichever phone is in your pocket. One wireless charge runs it for up to 10 months, and there is no subscription.

Features

  • One card, either network: Badged for Locate with Apple Find My and Works with Android Find Hub. Most cards commit you to one ecosystem for the life of the product. This one moves with you, and it hands over cleanly if the item it protects changes hands.
  • Ten months per charge: Two charges a year, not twelve. The 155mAh cell runs up to 10 months and tops up on the same wireless pad as a phone, with the charge level visible in the app long before it runs down.
  • 1.7mm profile: Thin enough that the wallet still folds and the passport sleeve still shuts. A round tag has to go in a pocket or on a strap; this goes where the cards already are.
  • IP68, read properly: The 8 is the water digit and it sits at the top of the ingress scale. The leading 6 means dust-tight with no qualifier. Sealed, rather than merely resistant.
  • Audible locate: Trigger a tone from your phone when the card is in range but out of sight, and follow the sound to a bag, a folder or a coat pocket.
  • Left-behind alerts: The phone flags the separation when the card stays behind somewhere you have not marked as a trusted location.
  • Lost mode: Flag the card as lost and attach a contact number or email, so whoever picks it up can reach you without seeing anything else.
  • Nothing to renew: The location comes from other people's phones, running software Apple and Google already ship. There is no account to maintain, nothing that lapses, and no service that can be discontinued underneath you.
  • Keyring slot: A moulded slot in the corner takes a keyring or lanyard for the times the card is not riding in a wallet.

Applications

Checked luggage on a work trip

Slide the card into the passport sleeve or an outside pocket before check-in. When you land, the map shows whether the bag travelled with you or stopped at a transfer airport, so you know at the gate rather than at the carousel.

Field kit and tool bag

A bag that gets set down on job sites is the one that goes missing. IP68 sealing means the card takes the same weather the bag does, and the audible tone finds it under a bench without unpacking anything.

Wallet and passport

The card rides in the slot the cards already use, so a wallet left in a cafe or a passport left in a hire car shows up on the map from the next phone that walks past it.

How it Works

  1. Power on: Hold the button for five seconds. The card beeps once to confirm it is running.
  2. Pair: On iPhone, open Find My and go to Items, Add Item, Other Supported Item. On Android, open Google Find Hub and connect. Setup takes under a minute on either.
  3. Track: The card reports its position whenever a participating phone passes within Bluetooth range. Play a tone when it is nearby, or open the map for the last recorded location.

Worth understanding before you buy: this is a Bluetooth tracker, not a cellular GPS device. It carries no SIM and no GPS receiver. Position updates arrive when an Apple or Android phone running the relevant network passes near the card, which happens constantly in towns, suburbs and airports, and rarely on back roads or open country. It reports a last known location, not a live trail.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do wallet tracker cards work with Android?

Most do not. The majority of slim tracker cards are built for Apple Find My only, which leaves Android users without a way to track the same item. This card is badged for both networks, so you pair it to whichever one your phone runs rather than buying a platform-specific version.

Does it work overseas?

Yes. Both networks are global, so the card reports wherever there are phones running Apple or Google software, which covers most populated places. Nothing needs switching on before you fly, and there are no roaming charges to worry about.

How often does the location update?

Whenever a phone on the Apple or Google network passes within Bluetooth range of the card. In cities, suburbs and airports that happens continuously. On a quiet rural road it may be hours between updates, because there is no passing phone to relay the position.

What happens when the battery runs out?

Place the card on any Qi wireless charging pad or power bank. The app shows the battery status before it gets that far, and a full charge lasts up to 10 months, so charging lands roughly once a year rather than monthly.

Can I use this to keep track of my own things?

Yes, tracking your own wallet, passport, bag or luggage is the ordinary use for a tracker like this. Surveillance devices laws differ by state and territory, and fitting a tracker to follow another person without their consent is generally not allowed. Apple and Google both warn a phone when an unfamiliar tracker keeps travelling with it. This is general information, not legal advice.
