It combines GPS, BeiDou, mobile tower and Bluetooth-assisted positioning with an IP67 enclosure, a light sensor that raises a tamper alert, and a choice of magnet or screw mounting. An 18,000mAh non rechargeable lithium pack supports ultra low duty operation at one live update per day, which is where the multi-year standby figure comes from, while still reporting reliably for security and logistics oversight.

How it Works

Fit a SIM and set the mode: Insert a standard-size SIM and choose a working mode. Regular GPS, Tracking, Phase-Based and Alarm-Based each trade update frequency against battery life.
Mount it on the asset: Use the strong magnet for a quick fit or the screw points for a permanent one on plant, a container or a trailer.
Track and set alerts: Positions come from GPS and BeiDou with mobile tower and Bluetooth assistance, and report over LTE Cat 1. Draw geofences for entry and exit alerts, and the light sensor and accelerometer raise a tamper or movement alert if the unit is opened or shifted.

The multi-year standby figure assumes one update per day. Setting a faster reporting rate shortens it substantially, so match the mode to the asset before you deploy a fleet of them. Firmware updates arrive over the air.

How is the battery serviced?

It is not. The Li-SOCl2 pack is a primary cell, so there is nothing to recharge: it runs for up to five years at one live update per day and is then replaced. That is confirmed by the manufacturer. Fit it and leave it, and plan on replacement rather than a charging cycle.

What positioning systems does it use?
