Description

An apartment or a smaller home is a shorter job than a large house, and it is priced accordingly, but the equipment and the method are the same.

UNIT-SWEEP2 is the comprehensive package for a residence of up to three bedrooms. A non-linear detector responds to the semiconductors inside a device whether or not it is powered, so a bug that has been switched off is still in scope. Alongside it, wireless bug detection, camera lens finding and a close visual inspection of rooms, fixtures and furnishings. Place the order and a consultant calls to arrange the visit.

Features

Coverage for homes up to 3 bedrooms: Designed for full-property checks across bedrooms and shared areas.
Finds powered and switched-off devices: Non-linear detection helps locate electronics even when they are not transmitting.
Camera and microphone discovery: Targets pinhole, night-vision, and Wi-Fi cameras plus concealed microphones and listening devices.
Professional toolset: Uses a non-linear detector, wireless bugs detector, camera detector, and an inspection camera with flashlight.
Clear next steps: You receive identified locations and guidance so you can take action and improve privacy.

Applications

Real-World Scenarios

An Apartment Or A Smaller Home

Fewer rooms does not mean less risk. A one or two bedroom flat has the same smoke detectors, the same power outlets and the same furniture as a house.

This package covers a residence of up to three bedrooms in full: every room plus the shared spaces, worked through in order.

A Rental You Have Just Moved Into

Somebody else chose the fittings, and somebody else has had a key for longer than you have.

A sweep at the start of a tenancy answers the question once. The non-linear detector matters here because a device left by a previous occupant may well have gone flat.

Somewhere You Have Already Looked Yourself

Plenty of people buy a detector, sweep their own flat, and are still not satisfied, usually because they are not sure whether they used it properly.

A sweep is somebody who does this regularly, with a non-linear detector that a consumer would not normally buy, working to a method rather than to a hunch.

How it Works

Place the order. A consultant calls you to talk through the residence, its size and access, and to agree a time.
On site the team works room by room: a wireless bug detector for anything transmitting, a camera detector for lenses, and a non-linear detector for electronics that are switched off or flat.
Fixtures, furnishings and the usual concealment points are inspected by hand and with an inspection camera. At the end you are told what was found and where, with guidance on what to do about it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you locate devices that are switched off?

Yes. The non-linear detector responds to semiconductor junctions, which exist whether or not the device is powered or transmitting.

What areas are included?

Up to three bedrooms plus shared areas such as living rooms, studies, kitchens and hallways.

Which tools are used during the visit?

A non-linear detector, a wireless bug detector, a camera detector and a configurable inspection camera with flashlight.

How is this different from the basic home package?

The non-linear detector. The basic package finds what is transmitting and what has a lens; this one adds the class of device that has been switched off or has gone flat.

What happens if you find something?

You are told where it is and what it appears to be, with practical guidance on removal and on reducing the chance of a repeat. Decisions about removal, about involving the police and about anything legal remain yours.

How do I book, and what happens next?

Place the order and a consultant calls you to talk through the property and arrange a time. Nothing is scheduled automatically, because the size of the space and the access arrangements change what the visit involves.

Is it legal to have my home or car swept in Australia?

Yes. You are entitled to have a home, vehicle or premises you own or occupy checked for hidden devices. Surveillance devices laws differ by state and territory, and placing a hidden camera where people expect privacy, or a listening device on a private conversation, is generally not allowed. If a device is found, leave it in place and photograph it before anything is moved, because its position can be part of the evidence.
