Description

You are in complete darkness on rough ground with your hands full. This head-mounted night vision monocular gives about 150 metres of visibility with nothing to hold, and the flip-up mount lets you switch between normal and enhanced vision instantly. The built-in infrared illuminator reaches about 100 metres, so it works with no moonlight at all, and one CR123 cell runs it for up to 60 hours with the illuminator off.

Features

Hands-Free Night Vision: Head-mounted design leaves both hands free for climbing, shooting, or equipment handling
Flip-Up Instant Switching: Flip down for night vision, flip up for normal vision, no removing the helmet
Zero Distortion Vision: 1x magnification means no tunnel vision, natural depth perception, and full situational awareness
See in Total Darkness: Built-in 100-meter IR illuminator creates light where there is none
Wide 30° Field of View: See more of your surroundings than with narrow-tube night vision
All-Night Battery Life: 20 hours with IR on, 60 hours with IR off, multiple nights on one battery
Extreme Weather Ready: Operates from -30°C to +40°C with IPX4 splash resistance
Custom Focus Adjustment: +/- 4 diopter eyepiece adjustment for perfect clarity without glasses
High Detail Recognition: Advanced optics provide clear object identification even in complete darkness
Lightweight & Comfortable: Ergonomic design for extended wear without fatigue
Versatile Applications: Perfect for hiking, camping, hunting, and professional operations

Applications

Application Scenarios

Night Hiking & Camping

Setting up camp after sunset. Navigating backcountry trails in the dark. Hands-free night vision means you can carry gear, set up tents, or use trekking poles while seeing clearly.

Hunting & Wildlife Observation

Tracking game in low light. Hands stay on your rifle or binoculars. Flip-up design lets you scan with night vision, then flip up to use regular optics without removing your helmet.

Property Security & Surveillance

Checking your property perimeter at night. Both hands free for gates, flashlights, or communication devices. 150-meter range lets you identify people or animals at distance.

Search & Rescue Preparation

Training for low-light emergencies. Maintaining night vision while using both hands for equipment, first aid, or assisting others. All-night battery life for extended operations.

Lawful Use

Legal for personal use in outdoor activities, security, and wildlife observation. Using night vision for hunting may be regulated in your area, check local game laws. Not for surveillance of others without consent or for military/law enforcement impersonation.

How it Works

The monocular mounts to the included helmet bracket with a quick-release system. CR-123 battery powers both the image intensifier tube and IR illuminator. In low light, the device amplifies existing light up to thousands of times. In total darkness, the IR illuminator projects invisible infrared light that the monocular can see. You view through a single eyepiece with your dominant eye while keeping your other eye available for normal vision.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Does this work in complete darkness?

Yes. The built-in IR illuminator projects invisible infrared light up to 100 meters, allowing you to see even with zero ambient light.

2. Do I need a special helmet?

No. The included bracket mounts to any helmet with standard rails or can be adapted. We recommend tactical, biking, or climbing helmets.

3. Can I use both eyes?

You view with one eye through the monocular. Your other eye remains available for normal vision, which helps with depth perception and reduces disorientation.

4. How long does the battery last?

20 hours with IR illuminator on, 60 hours with IR off using a standard CR-123 battery.

5. Is this Generation 1, 2, or 3 night vision?

This uses a "Super" Generation 1+ tube, brighter and sharper than basic Gen 1, more affordable than Gen 2 or 3.

6. Can I record video or take pictures?

No. This is an optical viewing device only. No video output or recording capability.
