Description

A hand held USB recorder built around one decision: record WAV at 1536kbps rather than a compressed format. That is a genuinely high bitrate, and it is what makes a recording usable for transcription rather than just audible.

16GB of internal memory and up to 25 hours of continuous recording from a 200mAh cell. Earphones are supplied for playback, and the recorder plugs into a computer over USB to move the files.

Features

Noise-reduced microphone: High-grade mic with noise reduction captures clear speech in busy environments.
High-bit-rate audio: Records at 1536KBPS to retain detail and intelligibility when reviewing conversations.
Flexible recording modes: Choose continuous, voice-activated, or timed recording to suit the situation.
Record while charging: Operates from USB power for uninterrupted long sessions.
Direct playback & simple control: One-button control and earphone playback let you review audio on the spot.
Rechargeable battery: Charge and reuse, no disposable cells to replace.

Applications

Where It Fits Best

Use this USB-style recorder for documenting meetings, interviews, and lectures or for discreet note taking where a low-profile device is preferred. Its long run time, voice activation, and direct playback streamline capture and review without a computer.

How it Works

Charge and start: Charge over USB, then start recording. There is nothing to configure: it records WAV at 1536kbps to 16GB of internal memory.
Record for up to 25 hours: A 200mAh cell gives up to 25 hours of continuous capture, which covers several days of meetings or a long site visit.
Listen and transfer: Plug the supplied earphones in for playback, or connect the recorder to a computer over USB to copy the files off.

Specifications

Power: 5V, 2A maximum. Use the adapter supplied, or a standard 5V USB charger or power bank rated 2A or less. Do not use fast chargers (USB-C PD, Quick Charge, Super Fast Charging) or high-output power banks: they can damage the device.

Continuous Recording: Up to 25 Hours
Recording Format: WAV
Recording Bit Rate: 1536KBPS
Built-in 16GB Memory
Battery capacity: 200 mAh (Li-ion polymer)

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I start recording quickly?

Slide the switch to the record position. The device begins recording immediately using the last selected mode.

Can it capture only when someone speaks?

Yes. Enable voice-activated mode to start and stop automatically based on detected sound, saving battery and storage.

Will it keep recording during long sessions?

It records up to 25 hours per charge and can continue recording while connected to USB power.

How do I listen without a computer?

Plug in the supplied earphones to play recordings directly from the device and navigate files with the control switch.

Is it legal to record audio in Australia?

Recording your own dictation, a meeting where everyone knows it is recording, or sound in your own empty home, vehicle or site is lawful. Surveillance devices laws differ by state and territory: recording a conversation you are part of is allowed in some states and restricted in others, and recording a private conversation you are not part of is generally not allowed. This is general information, not legal advice.
