The VIM-BUTTONCAM2 is a 12 gram body worn camera in a button shape, 70 x 15 x 10mm, with four replacement buttons so it can be matched to the garment it goes on. There is no card to buy: 32GB is built in.
It records Full HD 1920 x 1080p at 30fps with audio in AVI, with a time stamp, and it also takes stills. One button starts and stops it. The battery gives about sixty minutes, so it is built for a session rather than a day.
About sixty minutes of continuous recording. It is built around a session rather than a day, so charge it before you need it.
No. The 32GB is built in and there is no card slot. If you need more than that, the WiFi button camera in the same range takes a card up to 256GB.
They are replacement fittings, so the camera button can be matched to the garment it is going on rather than standing out against it.
Yes, there is a built-in microphone. Audio is treated more strictly than video in Australia, so keep it to conversations you are part of.
Owning and wearing a camera like this is lawful in Australia, and so is filming in public places and on property you own or control. Surveillance devices laws differ by state and territory, and filming people where they expect privacy, such as a bathroom or bedroom, or recording a private conversation you are not part of, is generally not allowed. This is general information, not legal advice.
