The VIM-WALLCLOCK2 is a 325mm quartz wall clock with a Full HD camera behind the dial. It hangs on a normal screw in a room you own, which fixes the camera at head height on a wall rather than on a shelf, and it can run continuously on the supplied 5V adapter.

The pinhole lens sits inside the letter Q of the word Quartz, so the clock has to face the part of the room you want covered. It records 1920 x 1080p at 25fps in H.264 across a 90 degree view with a built in microphone, joins an 802.11b/g/n network for live view and push alerts on Android or iOS, detects movement to about 6m, and loop records to a microSD card up to 128GB. A 3000mAh cell runs it away from power.
