Description
A guard on a night round of a car park or a builders' yard rarely gets a warning before things turn. The VIM-PC-01 keeps a rolling buffer while it is switched on, so each clip starts before the record key is pressed, and if the camera is knocked off in a scuffle, its impact sensor records the fall. A laser dot shows exactly where the lens is pointing, and red and blue strobes with a siren make the wearer easy to find in the dark.
It records 4K at 30fps to a microSD card of up to 512GB, which is not included, so add one to the order. The built-in 3,500mAh battery is rated for about 15 hours and charges upright in the single-bay dock in the box. The camera's own WiFi links to a free phone app for live view and downloads at the scene, with no SIM, data plan or platform fee, and it is rated IP68 and for a 2 metre drop.
